The Cost of Trump’s Politicization of the Military
They’ve crossed one line after another since January - and we must not become numb to the mounting damage to our military and national security.

Profound:
“I just think about what the iPhone arrived as: a library you kept in your pocket, connected to all the world’s knowledge and what it's become: a digital vape you keep under your pillow, so you can always suck on it.”

America just has to get out of the 20th century. I love America, but you are no longer the greatest country in the world. You’re just not.
Things change. As a nation it’s time to just age gracefully. Be adult.

At this point I’d settle for a string of days where I’m not embarrassed by 2.0 & that Administration.

—silent Rs over the non-budgetary budget bill
—accepting a jet from a foreign government

You have to avoid two things: apathy and urgency.
Don’t lose your concern but don’t rush at it either.

Take it seriously but don’t get caught up in your anxiety.

Maybe if someone cries, “Constitutional Crisis!”, it helps to take a breath. Even if there is a crisis. Take a breath.

If you don't like what's going on in Washington currently, contact your Senators and Representative. Don't just bitch on social media.
Contacting them likely won't do anything, but not contacting them DEFINITELY won't do anything.
50%-70% of the eligible voters didn't vote for this.

The Fire Hose of Falsehoods

…we might want to consider how the very notion of truth has been put in the deep freeze in Russia. Over the years, Khrushchev had forced Soviet citizens to open their eyes to the reality of Stalin's cruel and paranoid rule.

Trump sentencing: 3 stars.
Story was too long and the ending unsatisfying.
I wish Judge Merchan had noted what the sentence would’ve been had Trump not been President elect.
I feel cheated out of the story’s conclusion.
