Professor Sir Sam will share his learning and wealth of experience from his work in Tower Hamlets, in establishing social prescribing projects. The Confident Leader is a great next step in your leadership development journey if you want to reflect on your leadership style and how this affects your personal impact; gain practical tools to apply on a day-to-day basis; and learn about adapting as a leader to changing situations. On this programme you will get the opportunity to reflect upon and develop your personal leadership styles and skills. During the session you will be exposed to key considerations for effective leadership such as leadership styles, emotional intelligence, communication, difficult conversations, managing conflict and building psychological safety.

Very excited to open our regional Chrysalis leadership programme for SAS doctors and dentists in Northern Ireland supported by NIMDTA. Apply via learn.hscni.net
It includes eight modules across four days and aims to support your personal development journey with new ideas and fresh thinking. It aims to support participants to be active collective leaders in their role and to build confidence and skills to move into formal leadership positions. With an emphasis on self reflection and group discussion, it will be interactive and supplemented with action learning sets. The course will promote clinical innovation through an emphasis on Quality Improvement and an opportunity to develop a service improvement project proposal. It is delivered by the Leadership Centre with input from senior leaders.
