P5 have enjoyed a week full of festive fun 🎄
We wrote a procedure on How to Steal Christmas, inspired by the Grinch, worked together as Santa’s elves to design and build sturdy packaging, and finished the week with lots of laughter and fun at our Christmas party! 🎅

Our P5 Christmas hamper this year is green-themed, we would be grateful for any green-coloured items you can donate to include in it. Other donations are also very welcome, such as sweets, bottles etc. All contributions will help make our Christmas Fayre on 5th December a success 🎄 Thanks again 🤩

Last week, Primary 5 celebrated Book Week, by watching authors live. In PE, we’ve been getting creative with dance, experimenting with movement and working together to build routines. We’re also loving the challenge of “bumping up” our writing, making our work even more exciting and detailed.

As part of our PBL learning about the future, P3 have been using the sphero bots to learn how to code. So far, we have been able to make them move, change colours and even talk. Can you hear what it says?

P5 are enjoying developing their procedural writing skills. Today, they wrote instructions on how to make a paper aeroplane and then had great fun creating what they had written about. They loved testing their procedures to see if their steps were clear and if their aeroplanes could really fly! ✈️

P5 have enjoyed lots of different Halloween activities this week 🎃 In maths we became detectives to work out the Halloween mystery 🕵️ and we used our creativity in literacy to write some spooky Halloween stories 👻

A huge thank you to the families from P3 and P3/4 for coming to our world of pure imagination 🍫🍬🍭🍩. The children were incredible and we are extremely proud of them all.

Primary 3 have been learning a story map linked to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We worked together to create actions to help us remember it. Today, we used this map to plan our own stories. We can’t wait to write them!
