I know you've had a few rides in it back when. You laughed when you saw the Triplex logos on the glass.

There she is.. packed-up in a Lucky(?) parking lot and won't idle. 24yo xk8, bit of a trick finding anyone who will touch it.

Making the turn, observe how the isolated straps pass the current around the poles.

The mid 60's houses are in this 'California Hacienda' style. Love the old style lamp and the arches, there are many like this here in Monta Vista.

This is a combination streetlamp and pole pig in Monta Vista from the creation of the neighbourhood in the mid 1960s. Paint is a bit lacking here. This is the terminus of a string of these.

These are 115kv lines heading to Moffett field. They exit the Monta Vista substation and proceed over suburban neighborhoods. Here they are about to cross the eight lane I-280 freeway from the southbound side at the terminus of Groveland Dr.

This board I cobbled together, ready for mailbox installation. The door will have a small disc magnet that trips the magnetometer threshold, wakes the CPU, and sends a LoRa message indicating (most likely) that mail has arrived. Runs on harvested energy.

My new board works. First time, just a minor Ada sw change to add the TCXO that this LoRa module needs. So it harvests, charges the battery, gives 3.3v to the module and the magnetometer works. No issues seen.. yet.

Specifically this one. Prob board designers worst nightmare when a part like this is spec'd. Here's the footprint... Oh.. btw.. it needs a hundred passives.

Christmas miracle. After I put my one way stopper door in, a squirrel exited but could not get back in... so.... he loitered... loitering is being monitored by a true apex predator. This happened *fast*

Spanish tile roof. Stopper nail rusts, squirrel pulls it out, munches though the roof, welcome freeloaders. Cobbled this one way door today in a few hours. Final one has some nasty SS mesh on the sides.
