I need to move back to Illinois. I love my governor in Kentucky (Andy Beshear is awesome) but the legislative branch will squash anything good he wants to do.

The states with highest number of hospitals at risk are Kentucky at 35, Louisiana at 33, California at 28, and Oklahoma at 21. Hospital uncompensated care costs will increase to projected $42.4B by 2034. 🧵

GA, LA, MS, and TX would see their uninsured rates increase by 6 percentage points. KNG Health Consulting said the loss of enhanced premium tax credits would result in $28B reduction in hospital spending over 10 years. Also, could place 338 financially struggling hospitals at risk of closing. 🧵

According to KFF, a health policy organization, the uninsured rate will increase by amount 5 percentage points by 2034. The increases in insurance rates will vary; estimates are Florida would see highest increase in uninsured with a 9 percentage point increase by 2034. 🧵

Oh, don't put anything beyond Mitch. I can assure you he will do anything to keep his wallet fat & his power intact. He has called T despicable, detached from reality, yet Mitch still supports him.

Doesn't mean anything. My husband is 74 and if he were our Senator, he would to stand tall against the destruction of our Constitution by the Republicans and T, and loudly vote "no" against cloture.
Age truly isn't an indication of a person's morals, ethics, and intelligence.
