Okay did my own research- UW apparently did it officially for an unknown amount of time prior to 2011 and then stopped. They started it up again in 2019. Still unknown on Oregon.

Oregon especially- I went to a game at Autzen in 2015 and don’t remember them doing it at all.. I am pretty sure UW was doing it then when I went to Apple Cup that year but unsure if they really were before?
