Came across this apparent Black-Throated Diver x Great Northern Diver hybrid, whilst carrying out Black-Throated Diver surveys in the Scottish Highlands this week. It was present with three other Black-Throated Divers and a pretty striking individual!

Working in Somerset this week allowed a trip to see the Least Sandpiper at WWT Steart Marshes this afternoon. Showing reasonably well with a Little Stint for some company too!
