Magic is a raw power in any dnd setting, and a wizard's ability to transcribe that magic into a condensed package is an impressive feat. But magic can be used by anyone who understands it. My homebrew rules on spell scrolls allow for an ability check to cast any scroll from anyone.

Since it is the 31st. I was feeling inspired, and so I will share my house rules for inspiration and fate. Designed after pf2e stacking points and dnd4e's encounter points.
Dice rolls are important, and a skilled rogue who needs that extra edge on their sneak attack may choose to bend fate.

Now on the other side of things, falling is a natural part of getting up high, and while gravity is usually consistent, the anatomy of creatures would make damage a lot different among them, despite what the basic rules claim, and now, that can be represented here.
