I left work early and told my team to leave me alone until Monday. Not taking PTO AND not working either. It's also "fuck work" o'clock.

I'm tired.

Business as usual is so fucked right now. And the irony of being in a training asking us to contemplate changing the world while we all stay at work because it's not like we can easily cancel/reschedule and we paid the speakers so....

I just need to say that this response in this exchange has me snickering from the layers. Solid joke, fast-as-fuck switch up. Just solid comedy.

My institution is addressing our about overwork and class size issues and student conduct/scholastic dishonesty concerns by making “embrace AI” part of the new institutional mission. They really think they solved it… 😬😭

At least all that scrolling works up an appetite and you get to learn a lot about some bloggers picky husband who just can’t get enough of this chicken and asks for it all the time now

Absolutely not Hegseth. The stupid contrast heel sticking out of the top of his shoe makes his socks look too big or his shoes ill-fitting causeYOUR HEEL IS SUPPOSED TO BE COMPLETELY IN YOUR SHOE. Novelty socks are so poorly constructed it’s like you’re not supposed to wear them like socks ever.

As an autistic person, the sense of justice thing isn’t about moral correctness, it’s about social rules. It’s literally just “I learned that certain things were okay/not okay and this situation is subverting/ignoring that.” What you consider injustice all depends on WHAT RULES you’ve learned.

But folks apparently don’t like finding local orgs to work with and instead just like the “convenience” of a nat’l group which says a lot about their investment in organization in the first place.

One centralized searchable list is dumb and bad. Protests and organizing is most effective happening in a network of local orgs working together, which makes it more difficult to get all the data at once.

Don’t mind me about to just copy/paste this into my units staff meeting document as my new sign to tap to whenever anyone is like “maybe we should just trust and embrace AI”

It’s getting pretty scary…
