I was maybe 10? What I disliked was the ROLE, not the actor, and that actor had done an EXCELLENT job presenting a realistic person to me, a type of person I would never have understood in real life. But now I DID. I had empathy. I wonder how much that 2 mins, 50 years ago, shaped me...

I just got a flash of a memory... I was very young, and talking to my mother. I mentioned I hated the actress who played Edith, because she was stupid. I meant vapid, but didn't know that word at that age. My mother spent a few mins explaining how the actress was so good, she sold that image to me.

I agree, I am making a joke about him being a character actor, when that type of character was unknown before him. He is kinda the mold. There were men who came close, I mean Dick Van Dyke was a modern role model in many ways. So was Fred Gwynne and John Astin (Munsters and Adams Family).

I think the whole cast, with the exception of Riener were amazing actors in that show. Reiner was playing himself, so he doesn't get that acolaide. :)

There are thousands in line to step up and protect them, because the pedos have a lot of money. We are talking about bank presidents, CEOs of tech companies, Wall St managers, etc. These guys have CASH. And some people will do anything for that cash.
