I am 100% done with all the things related to my Anne Boleyn book. I really hope it is well-received; definitely took some risks with this one. Going to purge my mind with some fiction reading and resuming long-form poetry writing. I have no chill, friends.

I am delighted to say that I was readmitted to graduate school! After dropping out in Spring 2020 for obvious reasons to those who know me well, this is a wonderful turn of events. I am one class away after I correct a couple of things. I should complete my MA next year.

It looks like I am on track to be readmitted to grad school to complete my MA in History. I abandoned it in 2020 due to the pandemic. I should find out soon. Fingers crossed. In the meantime, please enjoy this image of Sybylla of Cleves!

Stop 2 on the tour is live now on If it Ain’t Baroque website! Did you know that Katharine of Aragon staying in England during her widowhood protected her from the Castilian grain crisis? #KatharineOfAragon #KatherineOfAragon #CatherineOfAragon

I have officially completed the finishing touches on my Katharine of Aragon book. I really hope people find its value, especially since it’s very much a Spanish history book. Her family’s origin, and her grandparents’ and parents’ tactics were vicious. No wonder Katharine was so tough!

Friends, if you want to learn about Anna of Cleves and why her marriage ended, maybe don’t trust Henry VIII, the 16th century English, or their records. Maybe read books researched and written from the German perspective, which mine are. #annaofcleves #anneofcleves #henryviii

Authors use their skills to document difficult times & express their observations. Boccacio did that with his Decameron, written between 1348 and 1353. I did that during our own pandemic, writing a novella. It explores themes of familial death, politics, & society. #pandemicbooks #historicalfiction

Overcoming past incorrect information is the hardest task for any historian. With Anna of Cleves people really want to believe that she was ugly & the annulment wasn’t about politics. You can read more in my books, the only ones researched from the German perspective. #anneofcleves #annaofcleves
