🚨VA ALERT!!!🚨
During her time in Congress, @abigailspanberger.com protected our community by cosponsoring the Equality Act and the Respect for Marriage Act. Now, she is ready to build a Virginia that is rooted in equality for everyone.

We are proud to endorse Abigail Spanberger for Governor of Virginia.

We will not let ANYONE cover up history, divide us, or force our trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive community back into the closet.

Our community has always been here, will always be here, and will keep leading the fight for equality every step of the way. 🏳️‍⚧️

Stonewall means “fight back.” 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

You cannot divide us, and you cannot erase queer and transgender people from our histories.

Stonewall sparked the modern-day LGBTQ+ rights movement because trans women of color had had enough, pushed back, and spoke out for liberation.

This Black History Month, as our communities battle attempts to whitewash history, use us as scapegoats, and undo our civil rights, we must show up louder than ever before.

Let us celebrate the Black LGBTQ+ leaders who came before us and let their legacy guide us.
