I'll say that as the generations have gone on i find that there are some really good designs

I played the demo for the first berserker khazan and I liked it. Solid soulslike combat. Very sekiro. Level design is lacking (for the demo) but the moveset and enemies were fun to fight.
Im not sure it'll be a day one buy for me because of backlog but it's on my radar.
Very cool art direction too

What's one thing you would want to get rid of in every jrpg?
Random encounters. I'd like to at least be able to turn them off or see them on the map

Honestly, it have to be puzzle bosses, when you need to defeat them in a certain way. RPGs should allow some kind of freedom in gameplay and fighting bosses. Gimmicks like a boss reflecting all magic damage is super annoying and not fun.

9) This design alone made me play ffvi. I never beat the game because I lost it but I will no doubt be playing it in the pixel remasters after I finish 4 and 5
