Hey there Mr Blue
Thing is, all National League owners/managers say this until they get promoted. Then when they do they’re grateful for the safety net and go miraculously silent…

I’m gutted about Max and his water pistols.

Cardiff is my favourite city in the world. Gutted I couldn’t go today.

Are we? I don’t recall Leeds peppering our keeper with saves. If we were so bad why were your players jumping around hugging when you won a goal kick towards the end?

We didn’t try and con the ref all night either like your lot.

You’ve spent more on agents’ fees in the last year than we have on players in our history I’d imagine. And you still had to dive and eat up the seconds at the end…

It’s going to get hijacked isn’t it? Congratulations to our player of the season, Marselino Ferdinan.

I work in communications. Next time our media monitoring service is up for tender the ability to find historic OM articles will be among the criteria.

Went something along the lines of Matt Robinson having a wand of a left boot, and Steve Basham’s deadly finishing. Might have another look actually

Gives me flashbacks of the Oxford Mail before that Orient game when they ran a motivational piece about how brilliant the players were. A fantastic read that I’ve not been able to successfully locate despite more years of trying than I care to admit.

Looking at it optimistically, QPR at home is the obvious one, but Swansea could be on the beach by the time we play them, Sunderland will have already finished 4th, and Sheff Wed might be out of the playoff picture. And of course Cardiff are below us.

Was referring more to the commentary about Eddie Howe “walking on water”

I don’t think we can afford to care too much about the brand of football until we become more established at this level. Entertainment has been a reasonable expectation for years, but this is a league where it can easily become naivety because of the quality of opposition.
