I travel through that area several times each year. Leakey's, Scotlands largest,second hand bookshop that's in a former Gaelic Church, Inverness is good to visit on a wet and cold day.

I love both haggis and gelato, but I think I will give this a miss next time I'm in Pitlochry. Reminds me of the time a restaurant in London put slivers of garlic instead of almonds on my husbands ice cream dessert.

Tignes. Certainly hills/ mountains. Lake to swim in plus swimming pool. I have only been in the winter months, but my son, who has worked there, has visited during the Summer months and had a good time.

I hope not. My introduction to pro cycling was through the watching of a good lead out and the excitement of the sprint from a bunch.

Pogacar is not one of my personal favourites. I now prefer to watch races he is not in as they are more enjoyable to watch and less predictable. Will watch Tour of Switzerland tomorrow and give the Dauphine a miss.

We have heard a cuckoo for the first time in a few years recently in the South of England where we live and hear them all the time near my Sons house on the Isle of Skye.
