The series could have benefited from an earlier release and a longer episode count, but for the vibe piece that the FLCL guy is known for, it hits enough for me.

Good stuff.
The more grounded Vietnam-esque look at the OYW was one that I enjoyed a lot. I wish Kiki was not treated the way she was for she was my favorite character by far.
The main romance did not grip me.

Cute series still! I'm enjoying their college days more than I did their high school ones. Seeing a romance set in the part of life I'm in is comforting, y'know? Still really like Yamada, but Kase-san ranked up a lot in this series.

Sad series! I still enjoyed it, though the early parts of it were rough in a way that tracks with part of the messaging later in the manga. I saw a lot of myself in Shizuku.

Big fan. I love the UC so much and I think that this is a really smart way to fill in the gaps of the time between ZZ and CCA.
Is it perfect? No, it has issues, but I still love the drama and the lore that it unveils.

I knew of this from when it first started, but just kind of dismissed it as being not for me with a gimmick I didn't care for.
I ended up liking both main characters a *lot* and am very excited for it to end.
