Alonso had his chance anyway, Liverpool should not be accepted as anyone's fall back.

If you act like a doormat expect to be used as one.

EU leaders must just look at all these US politicians and envoys coming over with zero clue about what they are talking about and wonder is there some idiot factory in the US mass producing them.
November 24, 2025 at 2:59 PM
Where has this pedigree coach stuff come from? Before Klopp Liverpool never had anyone that would be classed as a 'world class' manager that other teams would be hunting for and I'd include Kenny in that.
November 24, 2025 at 2:50 PM
Farmers voted for him and he bankrupt them with HIS tarriffs and trade wars so there should be no bailouts. That's like placing a bet of your own volition, losing, and then been given your money back that belongs to other people.

I don't think its arrogance I think he really believes it's the way. Klopp in fairness wasn't too dissimilar, he didn't really have a plan B. If teams are starting to revert to 80s football with longballs and set pieces you need to adapt. Even Pep has begun to go long with City in the EPL.
November 24, 2025 at 2:38 PM
Why isnt the follow up question..'So explain to me exactly how that is the case, how do Tarrifs benefit US consumer and reduce prices for them?'
November 24, 2025 at 2:30 PM
They did what a responsible government would do which is reduce dependence and source alternatives which they had done years ago so when Trump put on his tariffs they just switched over fully.
November 24, 2025 at 2:26 PM
They were never going to. Its gotten to the stage foreign countries are just letting him say what he wants and not correcting him as there's no point. They're just ignoring his claims as he can't force them to do anything.
November 24, 2025 at 2:23 PM
That's true but that's a dangerous sign the dressingroom is nearly lost by Slot. He also hasn't changed his tactics that aren't working a single bit. Changing players but keeping the same formation/tactics is not addressing the problem at all. Konate needs to be dropped asap and play Gomez.
November 24, 2025 at 2:19 PM
That's not really tactics though is it? Salah was always good for that but since his goals dried up hes not passing the ball to anyone when hes near the box unless its by accident.
November 23, 2025 at 11:12 AM
No, Spurs being Spursy is a way of life for them.
November 22, 2025 at 11:38 PM
You play the players in form and in their best positions, real simple. So he starts our most inform striker on the bench and our best most dynamic CM at RB. There's really no way spin that to make sense.
November 22, 2025 at 11:35 PM
I don't think pressure comes into it if the chasers are tripping over each other. Our form went into the toilet after PSG last season but Arsenal didn't capitalise and made a mess of it. Allowing us to draw and lose games regularly with zero consequences.
November 22, 2025 at 11:30 PM
Not in danger yet but I'd be very surprised if the higher ups haven't begun talking. When they get to that point it can't be knee jerk decision they need to have a plan. Let not forget this dip in form began after the PSG game it was just written off as the league was almost won it not a new thing.

Not malicious. One foot, studs aren't really that high. Not a red for me, Foden was just too quick for him.
November 22, 2025 at 11:21 PM
Pt 2 is Christmas Day and the finale New Years Eve. Mad time of year to drop them.
November 22, 2025 at 11:10 PM
Is there though? Taking our best and most productive CM this season and putting him at RB again when Gomez is fit, hands the midfield to the opponents. That doesnt suggest a way out but a manager that is flailing.
November 22, 2025 at 6:49 PM
The whole 'Not the Liverpool way' needs to be parked, the team looks lost as does Slot and can't imagine he is too far away from losing the dressingroom altogether. The players are not going to have any confidence in a man they can see is just throwing stuff against the wall in hope something works.
November 22, 2025 at 6:43 PM
I'm not so sure as I think he'd be just as affected by it if not more and you can't help someone out of something you're going through yourself. You need to be somewhat detached.
November 22, 2025 at 6:24 PM
Its not just cohesiveness its a lack of effort and fight which has to be questioned as well which should be the bare minimum that should be seen on the pitch.
