Actually, voting machines have a huge advantage over the Treasury system because voting machines are not centralized. Voting machines are not usually connected to the internet or to each other. So an individual cannot walk into a building and control the entire voting system.

Instead of individuals taking a loss on their Teslas by selling them, how about bringing the angry Tesla owners together and letting them create a giant bonfire of their Teslas? Burning a hundred Teslas would make a bigger statement and easily get more reaction than a thousand-person protest march.
