I forgot to pack my AirPods when I went away recently. I only had over ear headphones. I bought these from Ale-Hop in Spain for €20. They’ve been great! They sound good and the noise cancelling works. And at that price I don’t care if they get lost or damaged.

My Quarter Cask is nearly empty and Lore is getting very low so I bought 10 year Sherry Cask Finish and 10 year Cask Strength to replace them.

I went to see Jools Holland & his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra last night. They were brilliant as usual.
Chris Difford was the special guest. We got to hear a new song and 2 Squeeze classics! I was a big fan of Squeeze so that was a treat.

On the 15 min walk back to the hotel I noticed nothing is open. I can remember when I’d pass 3 pubs and would’ve had a drink in all day of them. It’s so depressing.

I wasn't much of a fan of the Isaac Wood era but I really like this. Folky and progy (Canterbury Scene springs to mind), there are hints of Joanna Newsom and Regina Spektor here.

We’re playing Quacks Duel this afternoon. It’s a better 2 player experience than Quacks but a little more complicated. The rulebook isn’t very good though so it’s been a struggle to learn.

Played Finspan with 2 players today. This game is excellent. It’s easier to set up and play than Wingspan so will be played more often.
I love the mechanic where to play some fish you spend cards from your hand but they go to your discard pile and can easily be brought back.
