Current tax subsidies to fossil fuels are circa 17.5b per annum, you and i pay that

Whilst pension funds are supported by fossil fuels, funds are increasingly divesting from fossil fuels - in any event, this does not support ‘energy security’ claims as it does not make UK less reliant on imports

We dont deliver it ourselves

Thatcher sold it off in the 80’s so, we no longer own ‘it’ - its various private companies now so, unless the Tories are saying they will re-privatise it, we shall continue paying incredible subsidies whilst fuel is sold on the open market

Farages lot usually insist on preserving the ‘christian’ country too

What a farce

I agree - strategy & comms are poor, over a year on

Lab need to play to strengths, not keep responding to Farage (who only has 4 MPs) and elevating his myopic interests

If people feel richer, see the results on Refugee processing/migrant returns, see increasing opportunities then tide will turn

They need a simplified cartoon version, like a Hagar the Caring or some such
August 30, 2025 at 10:21 AM
The real problems are people feeling poor tho against ever rising costs - Farage is one trick pony, distorting & amplifying a minor issue into something bigger than it really is

Labour responding to it simply legitimises Farages assertions and dismisses real problems of inequality/Cost of living

Yes - for 14 years, between 2010 to 2024, Conservatives made the UK be the only EU member not to implement Immigration Controls within the then EU 28

Conservatives stopped processing migrants and put them in repurposed hotels, contracts for buddies

Inevitably empowered Farage and ilk

It does feel a strange day indeed

I feel restlessly too tired to do anything

…oh yes, another pint please…

Strange day

Desperately unserious program

It requires changing format as too bubblegum and dumbed down

Talk up to the audience, scrutinise MPs, Councillors, Power, enlighten, be curious and bold

Incredible

I agree with the first two, i dont know whats so bad about finally processing Refugees again and giving Asylum where appropriate - that allows them to then integrate, work and contribute

10-15% who are then deemed to be Migrants are Returned where possible or held appropriately

Better than Tory

Brilliant idea!

What type of clay is that? Are you using supports?

I love making large pieces too

Losing me for sure

They should be doing that for us no longer ‘young’ but also didnt vote to lose freedoms such as FoM too - it shouldnt be a privilege just for ‘the young’

It creates more division and generational strive if it applies only to ‘the young’

Labour are being cowardly
