That is a reasonable explanation for prognosticators missing on the Brewers every year. A lot of teams would just plug in someone like Tobias for the whole year based on 2024 stats. The Brewers have a lot of guys on a short leash and will shuffle them around until they are hitting on 26 cylinders.

In fairness, the handful of time they dropped Parsons, it was a jail break on the quarterback

I would be willing to contribute $5 toward a bribe that would just give Carney the Nobel Peace prize tomorrow.

The dodgers tv deal is 196 million per year and the Brewers deal is about 34 million

So the Dodgers spent about $150 million "out of pocket" and the Brewers spent maybe $85 million?

It sounds like Harbaugh is locked in on the Giants, and I'm not sure who else you would get rid of MLF for.

Anything more efficient than what the Ravens did to the Packers is truly impressive

What about Gutey? Are we sure we can't do better at GM?

How easy would it be to move on from McKinney and just go with Williams and Bullard? I know we all liked the interceptions last year and he rarely allows anything deep, but I've heard him described as a "pile-sniffer" and wonder if the Pack is better served with the more physical guys.

No Bible verse has evolved more in my brain over the course of my life than "The love of money is the root of all evil"

That was fantastic. 99% of his interviews are probably the same recycled questions. It's probably refreshing just to sit down and have a chat at a bar.

Really well done. You have options if that comedy thing doesn't work out.

Rough loss, but at least you don't leave the game thinking that they can't beat the bears in Chicago.

The biggest problem is that they are likely to be on the road perpetually after next saturday

I have heard that Love has been good against the blitz but bad against pressure. I know they don't necessarily correlate but it's interesting.

Last year's starting 5. Should be an easy bar to clear

I refuse to believe that the offense is ranked higher than the defense in any statistical category. But maybe the offensive sky is not falling after all

From Woodruffs perspective, it seems like a 1 year "prove it" deal would be the best option.

That guy is a blue farmer for sure. He's waaay too smart and well spoken to be a Trump guy. I thought it might be AI for a minute

There is a lot of pressure on Reed to save the offense because I'm not sure there is another way for it to get better.

Low key story of the season is some of the surprising leaders - Patriots, Colts, Broncos and maybe Bears.

Maybe MLF saying “I didn't ask him how he felt. I don't talk to kickers." is not the flex that he thinks it is.

I don't think it was the worst football game that I have seen in the past 8 days.

Definitely the worst back to back home games I have seen in my lifetime

That 2010 team was cursed with 6 losses but never trailed by more than 7 points the entire season.

And were further cursed with injuries, but if you hoist the Lombardi at the end you were never cursed in hindsight. You were forged.
