America's liberal intelligentsia & professional consultants (many of whom are enormously popular here on Bluesky) have engineered a thoroughly cowardly and ugly Democratic Party. If we're living in America's latest Gilded Age, today's mainstream liberals won't be the authors of tomorrow's New Deal.
