I’ll believe it when I see it. Apparently Canada and China are the only ones not afraid of the pos.

4 million multiplied 1000 is 4 billion. I’m assuming he’s estimating 4 million Americans have firearms. I’m not sure what the real number is but i would be willing to bet it’s higher than that.

I must be seeing things when i see mail carriers get into taxis.

With Bre-X people mysteriously fell out of helicopters.

Trillions in assets would put them on par with Google, Microsoft and Apple. Not sure where you’re getting your info but it’s wrong.

LOL, if it isn’t true why are they borrowing money from the government?

You do realize they release annual financial statements which are completed and certified by CPA’s. If a CPA knowingly fishes the number they can lose their licence and face criminal charges. Google Enron or Bre-X.

Whether you want to believe it or not, Canada Post is bankrupt, without those loans, Canada Post wouldn’t survive 6 months. Unless Canada Post drastically changes course and becomes much leaner, there is 0 chance those loans would be paid back.

Long story short, it’s a bailout which will continue.
August 3, 2025 at 1:38 AM
I was more disproving your claim that Canada Post hasnt been given tax payer dollars since the 80s

I really don’t see an issue with making CP more efficient. Home delivery is very costly, not just personnel, in most cases, CP workers are driven from job to job in taxis.

Unfortunately there are very few countries with no extradition treaty with the U.S., and the ones that don’t have one you probably wouldn’t want to live there.

I 100% agree, if he wants to run the whole world maybe the whole world should get a vote?

California can join Canada, we would welcome them with open arms. :)

It’s not paywalled, I accessed it from Canada. My guess is due to copyright laws it’s either not available in Australia or a subscription is needed. If all the ads target NA, it would make sense that a subscription would be required in Australia.

LOL, my ear ring was ripped out of my cartilage 30 years ago, to this day I still have a scar.

If Trump wants to make life more expensive for Americans, that’s his choice, nothing we can do about it.

We need to walk away from any negotiations, they’re a waste of time. We have a country to run, we don’t have time for trumps daily temper tantrums.

If the orange buffoon wants to run the world, then maybe the entire world should get a vote in US presidential elections..

Tell your employer to stop withholding taxes from your paycheque, you’re refusing to participate. Let me know how that works, if you’re successful, maybe I’ll try it.

The DST if implemented would cause the U.S. Treasury to lose billions plus set a precedent for other nations. There is 0 chance the U.S. would agree to those terms for just us. Most of the world agrees in a DST, i can assure you the battle will be back.
July 1, 2025 at 3:09 AM
I assume you have inside knowledge on negotiations otherwise I’m not sure how you would know what was given up and to who. Trump takes advantage of everyone. Trump is a reality TV star, and thrives off being the centre of attention.

How was he giving off prey signals? He got Trump back to the table and didn’t give up a thing. He paused the DST, and can bring it back with the stroke of a pen. That’s probably not a battle we want to wage by ourselves anyway. Wait for the OECD to join in which will happen.

Netflix, Disney Plus, etc, every dollar they make worldwide is taxed by the U.S. government. Other countries don’t see a dime in tax revenue. I really don’t think a 3% digital services tax implemented by Canada on Canadian sales is unreasonable.
June 28, 2025 at 4:22 PM
Why is this even allowed? In Canada if you disagree with a judges decision, your only option is to appeal to a higher court. Suing a judge because of a ruling they made would get tossed so fast and it would include some hefty penalties for the filer.

Wannabe Hitlers can’t carry out their agendas without minions. Every single ICE agent carrying out Trumps orders are just as much to blame as he is.
