🪡 All that being said, hard to justify investment into content, curation, and discovery until there’s a true mass exodus from X. i.e., companies, brands, organizations that have an established presence for growth here vs X. I’ll keep occasionally checking in here, but it’s not for me… for now.

🪡 The “value” of ONLY personal accounts/small creators is diminished in that context. So long as people cross-post with X, it’s another Threads/FB/Mastodon situation where everyone will all end back up on X. There’s no point to be here for an objectively “worse” experience, as it stands today. 🧵

🪡 I have X curated. I have all the hate, vitriol, and political nonsense filtered out. It’s a really solid setup for me personally. It could also be that I’m bias towards using it more for game, software, tech, sports, etc updates. 🧵

🪡 Constantly running into either bots that repost from X or people just straight impersonating. i.e., Pokémon TCGP was latest one that bamboozled me with looking official then had a wtf post thrown in. All that being said, leads me back to “just browse on X.” 🧵
