Plainly wrong! #SDF areas were under international sanctions like the rest of #Syria, plus they faced Turkish attacks & attacks by Turkey-backed forces. They couldn't refine oil, so sold it cheap. And your "insane money" went to salaries & guarding/feeding ISIS prisoners!

Once again, the Yazidis are under threat of being forced from their homes, fearing genocide. Over 1,200 Yazidi families live in Sheikh Maqsoud & Ashrafiyah, which r being shelled indiscriminately by #Damascus linked jihadists. Immediate action must be taken before it’s too late.

On October 28, #Iraq's Committee for Freezing Terrorists' Assets issued a list designating Lebanon's Hezbollah & Yemen's Houthis as "terrorist organizations." Today, nearly a month & a half later, Iraq retracted the decision, stating the listing was issued "mistakenly."

Today, journalist Sherwan Sherwani was sentenced in #Erbil to 4.5 additional years in prison for allegedly insulting/ threatening a prison officer. The sentence brazenly exceeds the 2 yr maximum stipulated in article 229 of the 1969 #Iraqi Penal Code under which he was convicted.
