I saw Star Wars in 1977 when I was 6 years old. At that age, I assumed the Stormtroopers were Droids, because I thought the plates on their backs that read "oil" were obviously where the lube went in.

Do any of you Gen X kids remember the 1970's M&M's Christmas candy cane tube with a topper that was also a whistle? I find no evidence of it on the net, but have a strong memory of it.

My new obsession is a YouTube docuseries turned Prime docuseries called Travels by Narrowboat. It's about a guy who navigates Britain's vast canal system as a way of life. It's ameturely made, mundane, slow, and I can't get enough of it. I find it to be one of the few things that relaxes me.
