Miserable Old Git

Loves Lancashire CCC but hates Old Trafford, travelling and miss my freedom of movement.
Jeez, not an American, you're bound to be beaten up. Ask for a rise.

Ask an American what "bustitution" means....

Double down. Doesn't make sense, surely it's double up?

Yes Minister/Prime Minister

I suppose, if there's any straws to grasp at, a British ICE won't be armed. It won't, please tell me it won't.

Good, at least the fence he's sat on won't break now.

Good, but I bet my routes aren't covered!! Although I now have a senior railcard (£30/yr for 1/3 off), I often think they should sell an annual railcard for everyone @ £200 or so which would get something like 50% off everything, peak, offpeak, first class etc; or even £100 for off-peak travel only.

But you can flush shit away...

Means Green will never be our MP again and three cheers to that! Oh, by the way, I used to vote Tory until they stole my freedom of movement by taking me out of the EU. Come on, Phil, time to reverse that and join the SM. You know you want to...

Opera do the job just fine; but dunno how to block ads on my TV.
November 29, 2025 at 12:45 PM
I don't mind a 10-sec ad before the video, but that should be it. Some start with 50+ seconds (ditch the video then and find something else) and then break in (with no warning) another 50+ second ad, at which point I ditch the video. No wonder ad-blockers are so popular.

Her voting record in the House is second to none. Well, none actually...

Me too but in a different constituency!

Blumminek - I've never eaten turkey once, never mind at Xmas. Am I the first in line for the gallows?? Note to all the Reformers, my Xmas dinner is a paella with red.

'fraid I'm not posh enough for Heinz, I have to make do with Lidl's own brand. But what I'd like answered is why all the sausages end up at the top of the tin. Presume there's some mathematical formula r/e density/time/viscosity and whether or not the tin's upside-down?

No Blakey from On The Buses?? (And LOTSW for that!)
November 13, 2025 at 1:03 PM
Yes, made a sit-com (was it REALLY a sit-com??) character more than real!

She's not an MP....🤭
November 8, 2025 at 1:09 PM
It's...a...parody...
November 8, 2025 at 1:09 PM
The price of UK wholesale gas is about the same as it was in 2018/19, yet the prices we are paying (both per unit and those ruddy standing charges) is probably double?? Not only that the government is raking in 5% from VAT on higher bills. It's a disgrace.

Must admit, prefer the second one to the first, much clearer on the eye, but are the stations with the black dots interchange with BR?

Why am I being asked for age verification to watch this?
