Right so I'm reading Nova Swing by m John Harrison, just finished Light. It's prob just me but kinda has the same vibe as Burroughs Naked Lunch and Camus the Plague. Totally different writers but somehow similar flavour. Like the tatters of optimism in a place where optimists come last
