Mine's a bit tame imo but it'd be making the world of Stacksquatch (stacksquatch.com). Imagine a vertical stacking Katamari with everything in one map. It's no Cruelty Squad but a weird design space to work in.

Yeah I don't think you get away without rewriting a bunch of stuff. I guess you could just have an unworkable mess of an engine instead... At least the players won't notice?

Learning is fun but it's kind of difficult to finish a project when it's all you're doing. Hopefully you at least have something cool to show for it?
