I was thinking that. They (and Trump) are just ignoring everything and doing whatever they want. They just seem to do it and say to hell with norms. I expect that in the end.

I still think the GOP would just say “we’re not going, we’re staying for the benefit of the country, we don’t acknowledge the blue wins and they’ll just keep doing what they are doing” and then, well, that’s potential civil war territory. This yr will be insane

What can we do to survive this? We rally, we protest, we write, we call, the courts issue injunctions but we’re still cascading toward authoritarianism, nothing changes. We’ve always said “oh yeah, we’ll have elections in 2026” but I truly think they have other plans. Talk us off the ledge please!

I really have no words. It feels like we’ve spiraled to the point of no return.The media is useless, Congress is useless, SCOTUS is useless & the lower courts are getting close to being useless because Trump just ignores everything. Even protests seem like they are being threatened. Anything good?

Angry, have you heard ANY rumors about what may have transpired this weekend? I think we can all agree that while we don’t know if it WAS health related, we DO know that for a man who lives & breathes his life in front of cameras/media, to be absent for almost a week is…ODD? Anyone in DC think odd?

So…Trump not seen yesterday, not seen today and no events listed all holiday weekend on his public schedule that was just released. Setting aside the fact that the media should BE DOING ITS F’ING JOB and ask questions, what is the rumor mill saying about what’s REALLY going on with his health?

He looked like hell today in the Oval Office with his stupid hat on. A coworker, who is a casual observer of news, saw it on my screen and said “wow, what is wrong with him he looks terrible…”
