Been a bonkers week. I’m a car dealer but my part time gig is a volunteer attorney with charities supporting migrant kids. On Wed we Trump admin issued a cease work (because charities received USAID), we could no longer represent kids. Then yesterday, they changed their mind. Cruel yet incompetent.

My kids telling me they memorized Jumanji because they’ve watched it soooo many times (like 5). I was like, my blessed children, I watched Ladyhawke on HBO five times in a week in 1987. After watching Beastmaster and Clan of the Cave bear 100’s of times the years before.

If I sold my soul, don't think it would be enough to cover both a #Longhorns and #Texans win. I guess, I'll go with UT because if they did win, they have a good shot at winning it all. The Texans on the other hand would do a division round dumpster fire loss as usual.

People talking about Veterans Health. One thing that frustrates me is this ritual when I go to a sports event. I don’t mind honoring a veteran but it feels like standing and clapping relieves us of any responsibility to support politicians/policies that actually make a difference in Vets’ lives.

I don’t think you can be constantly angry and consistently kind to those around you. More power to you if that is your thing. I’m anti-Trump but i just can’t fixate on that incessantly. I’ve got my kids home from college, doing volunteer work after church, I need some balance.

after watching the #Superman trailer I felt a wave of nostalgic joy, then I read the comments. I just don’t get visceral negativity. If you don’t like, that’s cool. However, I was just feeling excited about taking my kids to see a live action Krypto and instead I’m awash in weird anger
