Yeah I'll never understand the "retro only" mindset. It's not like any of those genres, games or systems can't be found in a plethora of indie games

What about the pop art movement? They stole a heck of a lot and left comic and advertising artists starving while they made millions. I'm sure there are other examples. I'm just not sure this is the take despite agreeing on the basic anti-AI sentiment
