From what I can tell from across the pond, you don't seem to have a functioning judiciary system in the US. Or rather, a two tier system. One for the elite, one for the rest. With vastly different rules...🤔

Foreigner here. So no clue about the ins and outs of American rules. What is there to stop states sending taxes to the federal government if the federal government is withholding public money to the states? I mean, California is a pretty big economy, for example...
