Last night, I started reading Legend in the Mists. I really enjoyed the first fifty or so pages talking about how to play the game. I still just over 400 pages to read to finish reading the game, and I am looking forward to it.

So, I have a first finished attempt at a book sleeve and dice tray for the project i have been working on.
It was a pita to make the way I ended up, and the corners on it bug me. But I think I can iterate on this to make it easier to make with time.

Today's t-shirt Quilting sewing machine practice. This piece is about the same size as the last one that took two days to put together.

Day two of sewing, new things that I learned today, I need to add more seam allowances and to do a 90 degree turn while sewing.
I still need to work on the order of operations for construction. I also learned more about what the base pattern needs to look like.

I just got back from an annual doctor checkup, nothing much is going on, but i did talk to them about being anxious and depressed. I know what i am feeling isn't nearly as much as others, but they suggested I add something creative to my current exercise routine.

My wife has been obsessed with the idea of doing a temperature blanket this year, and it is reminding me of something I read for D&D in the 90s about alternate forms of spell books which is making me think about encoding language in fabric and what that would look like. 1/2

I have added Rosetta Stone to Duolingo for learning Spanish.
I am finding that they do different things well, so I hope they will work well together.
I will say that Duolingo seems to have gone down in quality over the time that I have used it.

Over the last several days, I have been reading Scions of the Dark Goddess by Shadow Lands. Visually, it is quite different from other Call of Cthulhu scenarios that I have read. I don't know if that is because it is set in the modern era or if this is the publishers style, but I do like it.
