The revolution started with an oligarch taking over the country and plundering it until there was almost nothing left, while the rest of the world welcomed them. It was regular people who stood up and said enough; were met with bombs. The revolution is just and the liberation of Syria is necessary.

This was the first and only tweet I posted since joining this platform. Looking at it now takes me back to a horrifying time of immense loss—but also to a time before we lost even more: more friends, mentors, loved ones, memories, places. I can’t believe it’s been over a year of this.
Israel wants to expel more Palestinians from their homes and lands in a single day than it did during the entire 1948 Nakba. More than 1.1 million Palestinians live north of the red line at Wadi Ghazzah; Israel wants to relocate all of them to the south of it in 24 hours.
