I believe she was gloating about releasing the files before they were actually on her desk. It makes no sense otherwise. Her sudden 180 leads me to believe she thought she had dirt on Dems only, and then she was shocked. This is my theory but it makes sense for what happened in real time.

My theory is she genuinely didn’t know Trump’s name was on the documents, and then had to change course when Patel agreed to finally give her access. Remember, some of these people are genuinely in a cult.
