My black cat, Daniel Jackson, sleeping in the sunlight while laying on top of my grandma's wooden storage chest. His head is partially upside down while he sleeps, in a pseudo-shrimping position with his paws all close together. He sorta looks like he has a smile on his face. That's just sorta how his face looks most of the time.

With that digression over, this is the environment in which I thrive.
My personal desk, which contains two monitors. And my adjacent work desk, which contains three monitors. Both desks are at a non-right angle. A desk shelf at the left end of my personal desk has my large desktop PC on it. A boom mic extends on the left of the screen. A shelf with some various items including a light-up letter board that reads "WHO WANTS STUCCO" is on the wall, next to a pendulum clock and a piece of art from Sunlit-Soul. The window looks out directly into the upper window of the neighbor's shower and the window of their bedroom. Is this horror manifest? Is this the ideal to strive for?

(b) Within 90 days of the date of this order, the Secretary of Defense, in coordination with the Attorney General, shall determine how military and national security assets, training, non-lethal capabilities, and personnel can most effectively be utilized to prevent crime.

Part of our morning routine involves waking up well before work and reading in bed. Jack takes this time to climb up and lay on me for a while. At precisely this time of year the sun has shifted just enough to peak between the rooftops, and the skies were overcast just enough, to perfectly light him

At this time of the year, the morning sun is at just the right angle to shine light down into my south-facing window. This particular morning was slightly overcast, so the whitewashed walls of the neighboring buildings created the perfect lighting conditions to really contrast with his black fur. When the sun is too bright and direct it comes through with that brown tint to it, betraying it's true color. With this lighting it's a lot more just a glossy black. He's staring directly into the lens, completely face on, with slightly lidded eyes and only a slight pupil dilation in his piss-emerald eyes. My cat's name is Jack. He is turning 12 years old in a couple weeks. He is starting to get old, just ever so slightly, and I think I'm starting to feel it more than him. I don't know why exactly. Maybe because I can start to feel myself get old. Just ever so slightly.

An excerpt from the linked NPR article that reads: "You lost sight of the oath that you took when you started at the Department of Justice by suggesting that you retain a discretion to interpret the Constitution in a manner inconsistent with the policies of a democratically elected President and a Senate-confirmed Attorney General," Bove wrote in the letter. It basically says, out in the open, that the President is willfully refusing to follow the Constitution.
