You have gotten to know the viera. You’ve shared jokes, exchanged meals, taught one another travel songs and learned about each other’s favorite books and plays. You’ve felt the first stirrings of affection, but you’ve been too nervous to express it. It’s probably for the best. You both lead lives constantly in motion. Better to just stew in your doubtlessly one-sided feelings, make the last leg of the journey pleasant, and part amicably. When Pyrrha calls you to her inn room, it must be to debrief for tomorrow. You knock courteously at the door. “It’s unlocked,” her voice floats through the carved wood. You let yourself in, looking down absently as you close the door, and as you lift your head, your breath catches. Pyrrha sits naked on her bed in the late afternoon sun, the dying light of the day casting her muscles and scars in sharp relief. Her golden eyes meet yours, unashamed and unafraid. A moment hangs in the air between the two of you. “We only have one more day,” she finally says, a murmur that breaks the silence. “No more games, no more waiting. Come to bed.” She arches her body, presenting herself to you. Her words are a gentle command, and you can’t help but want to obey. Pyrrha takes your hand as you slowly approach and pulls you the remaining distance toward her. You can feel the heat of her skin, the warmth of her breath. You move to draw the curtains, but she catches your wrist, guiding your hand to her breast. “Leave them open,” she purrs as she goes to work removing your clothing. “I want the village to watch as you make me yours.” Your mind goes blank for a sliver of a moment, before you lower your face and crush your lips against hers.
