I mean the only thing that I would have personally re-worked was the fact that the dragons age so rapidly like that, I think I would've been more comfortable saying "they're hundreds of years old!" or something, or just similarly aged like humans

That's mostly why I can't get into the books or resonate with the more centrist members of the IC community - the books could've been so much better WITH the controversy and uncomfortable questions that dynamic would have generated, and the latter are just blatantly hateful towards the idea
