When I was in college for professional writing, my professor told me I use way too many commas and recommended I make more use of em dashes and semicolons. Not to say I always take that advice, but I try!
Now with AI, punctuation like that is labeled suspicious 😩

My husband has OCD and for the past couple weeks it’s been very bad and focused on the house, so a pretty unavoidable topic lol

Sometimes I think I should add some light amber notes to my perfumes but, perhaps some people really don’t like amber and that’s why they like niche 🤷
