George, there is talk online that it was actually a flashlight turning on/off quickly. I’m no expert at all but I watched the footage slowed down and it doesn’t appear his hands were on the gun. Maybe the impact discharged the gun somehow. In any case, may not be wise to share.

I had observed many of the things you highlighted but def don’t have LE/legal background or skills to articulate them half as well. One thing I did initially observe and have seen some report: Ross may not have been the one who made the vile comments about Good post-shooting.

Thank you for the reco. I will keep this in mind if I decide to take the plunge. (Just remembered all the boxes I’m currently dealing with… that I probably should wait until I get those straightened out first before making an acquisition. 🤦♀️)

What scale are you using? My girl has IBD and I had thought about getting one when we were trying to stabilize things. She’s been stable for a while but is having a flareup this week so maybe should revisit. All the the baby scales I saw online had mixed ratings so I held off.

Exactly what I’ve been trumpeting. The hand switch for readying his right hand for his gun and moving towards the vehicle BEFORE any sign of imminent “danger”… Her manner was very clear that she was going to drive away and avoid dealing with him further. He escalated on his own.

I can see how if looking quickly without critical thought. It’s easy to miss that he moves the phone to his left hand at 0:30 making viewing angle different from earlier footage & like the vehicle was more in his direction than it was. A shaking camera w action out of view can support bad narrative.

I think you’re right but careful examination of the video would indicate otherwise. At 0:30, he grabs his phone with his left hand to presumably ready his right for the gun. He is not in harm’s way - wheels pointed away. As she’s cranking her wheel to her right & he moves in towards the car!

I’m not sure that it has been edited bc the continuity of the shot looks okay. He starts using his left hand to shoot the video at 0:30 & I think the action is out of frame bc he was focussed on his gun in his right. The video is otherwise damning. He readied his right for the gun & closed in.
