Happy to have received a copy of the latest issue of @theees.bsky.social's Egyptian Archaeology magazine, where I've made a small contribution in the form of a book review.

I reviewed @leireolabarria.bsky.social's "Making Memories in Ancient Egypt", part of the Ancient Egypt in Context series. 1/3

Next Saturday 11th October, I'll be travelling up to Barnsley to deliver a lecture for the wonderful Hapy Egyptology Society. This lecture will be an overview to my work on disability in Ancient Egypt, focusing primarily on what we can tell about the ancient Egyptian's attitudes towards disability.

Had the absolute pleasure today of going to New York University's London Campus to deliver two guest lectures to Dr. Alexandra Lee's students on Medicine, Health and Disability in Ancient Egypt.

I've been fortunate enough to come back and lecture for multiple years now. Always a pleasure. :)

Had a really lovely time at the 30th Social History of Learning Disability (SHLD) Conference at @openuniversity.bsky.social yesterday. Great conversations around community-centred and led approaches to social history and activism. Thanks so much for letting me bring the ancient world into the mix!

Very excited to get stuck into @leireolabarria.bsky.social's "Making Memories in Ancient Egypt", which I'm reviewing for the @theees.bsky.social's Egyptian Archaeology magazine. This is one that was on the top of my wishlist, so delighted to have the chance to review!

Had a great time speaking last night to the Archaeology and Heritage Circle of the National Liberal Club. We explored what it means to do an Archaeology of Disability, and some evidences and stories from Egypt, Greece and Rome.

The best bit: the reflections and self realisations from the audience.

Had a lovely evening in St Alban's celebrating the launch of my new exhibition. It was lovely getting to see it all in person for the first time, admiring the beautiful illustrations by @flaroh.bsky.social, and celebrate with all the team and contributors for this remarkable achievement. Very proud!
