There's no such thing as 'unfiltered free speech. An individual might have unfiltered free speech but a community cannot, as his absolute right would be achieved through suppression of rights of others. Moderator's goal should be balancing individual rights, not policing language.

Of course, with your pedigree, you should immediately start worrying what comes next. This is clearly not the most stable part of the world. They've now emptied prisons. Will they fill them with different political prisoners? Will they go democratic or theocratic? Civilian or military-style rule?
