Moved to NYC via Madison as a live in nanny - Midwestern nannies were trending that year, sang at The Duplex weekends. 2 sons, 1 husband, several cats. Slava Ukraini! Pls no out the blue DM's. 💙
My dad's in the hospital. Losing him would be tremendously unsettling and too sad. I have guilt about leaving him behind. He could never help me, but wanted to and that's worth something. He had a disease, but under that a heart, and he was kind. I love him. Let him stay here longer, I'm not ready.

Did anyone else grow up with the Nancy Ekholm Burkert illustrated Snow White? The illustrations are magnificent and detailed, I could look at them them for hours as a kid. 64.media.tumblr.com/12ed22ef3ea3...

Hey Bodega cat! I have an applicant, or say - appointee for the paper towel area. He thinks there's a lot of waste and woke lurking over there and he's going to fix it!

I have been seeing it as a cycle, fascism is on a 110 yr clock, re emerging when a greatest generation dies. People forget, never saw its horrors - and feel society is too outspoken, too decadent. The art too painfully honest as w/Otto Dix and George Grosz. It must be curtailed, all hail fascism.
