I turned my scope to the Leo Triplet of galaxies last night to catch asteroid 8 Flora nearby. In a few days this minor planet will cross in front of the top galaxy in that picture - NGC 3628, the Hamburger Galaxy. It should be an interesting event to follow. #Astronomy #Astrophotography

If my calculations are correct at about 1:20 am on 3rd March 2025 TONIGHT The Moon and Venus should show identical phase angles. Could it be an ideal photo opportunity? HoAG
