I've done this. The site was a collection of static pages hosted on AWS and Cloudflare. Loaded so fast on mobile I couldn't believe my eyes. A really fun project and looking at those instant page loads gives you great satisfaction at the end.

It will eventually pay off. The damn chips are too expensive right now. Pretty soon there will be less raw data to train on, so there will be no reason to buy lots of new chips. They will instead focus on improving the algorithms like DeepSeek did.
