I still choose this option over fighting insurance companies that I am covered under just to get my essential medications filled and not have to pay out the ass for. The over inflation of necessary medical care in this country is asinine!

I pay a monthly fee and get to see her as much as necessary. She doesn't take insurance but provides prescriptions at a lower cost than pharmacies. Obviously her abilities are limited to not being able to everything. I still have to get referrals for specialists and orders for bloodwork.

BTW, I am looking into cancelling my insurance because it clearly no longer serves me. I don't know if they will allow me to even cancel it which is a whole level of ridiculous on its own. I am seeing a doctor who offers Direct Primary Care.
