Finally got around to watching Tam Nakano’s retirement match

I loved it, amazing story, beautiful send off for her

I’m sad that we get no more Tam and that she doesn’t get a proper retirement ceremony but I’m happy that what she did get was so good 🥹

Very glad I made the decision to buy it I think I needed something like this to feel like I was doing something, now I just need to work up the courage to go visit the synagogue 🕍

Basically it starts with Deuteronomy 22:5, then we talk about the evolution of Judaism, particularly Liberal Judaism where there’s the idea of biblical texts not always applying to modern life

Stayed up later than planned to finish this book. Amazing stuff, exactly what I hoped it would be and I feel it’s a great starting point for learning about what’s been happening in the region

Was up early today and decided to start reading this and the preface alone made me feel so welcomed and seen. I’m excited to delve into it and start a new moment in my life, just need to find the courage to start
