Been reading the summer hikaru died and this idea has been haunting me for weeks. A danganronpa AU with unprecedented new vectors for angst.

A parody anime-style poster of The Summer Hikaru Died, but with the characters Nagito Komaeda and Hajime Hinata from Danganronpa 2. The two boys are in their respective school uniforms against a blue sky backdrop. Komaeda looks at the camera dejectedly, whereas Hinata is smiling. Red goop similar to the supernatural effect in TSHD falls from the left side of Hinata’s face over his eye. Their shadows extend in front of them across the bottom of the image, but Hinata’s has a distorted glitch effect, with a shape resembling Kamukura’s silhouette.

I got to create an illustration for the Scum Villain Big Bang event! You can find it in nomnom_writes’s lovely fic “Proud Mortal Office Worker Way” on AO3!

Twas lots of fun to put together~ #svsss

Fun fact when you draw Izuru in a braid he just ends up looking like Raiden Shogun.
