Great time last night seeing the amazing @sunday1994.bsky.social. Not only was the show fantastic, but how can you not love a band who hangs out and meets every last person, greeting them all like old friends? Plus they had a stack of setlists and signed them for everyone. They absolutely rule!

I thoroughly enjoyed #Weapons. Fun theater experience…try to see it on the biggest screen with the best sound possible.

I’ve loved this band for 33(!) years now. Very happy their story will be told, and that everyone survived to tell it! I was lucky enough to see them multiple times in the mid 90’s, and they did not look healthy a few of the times. Just an amazing band.

This album is true artistry start to finish. Masterclass vocal performance, covers a wide variety of genres, and includes one of the best tear-jerker ballads ever written imo (‘Let Her Down Easy’). 10/10 without question.

New song/visualizer this morning from @sunday1994.bsky.social, ‘Devotion,’ from their EP coming out 5/9. Beautifully melancholic, reminiscent of The Sundays, Mazzy Star, Madder Rose, etc., while still sounding modern. Love everything they are releasing! youtu.be/c5TV4MsgpRA?...

So many…but to name a few, Juliana Hatfield, Nina/Louise from Veruca Salt, Mary Lorson from Madder Rose, @belindacarlisle.bsky.social, and a few newer to the scene like Allegra & Etta from Momma, as well as Paige from @sunday1994.bsky.social
As we celebrate #InternationalWomensDay today, we're curious...who are your all-time favorite band/group frontwomen?

While it’s sometimes tough for me to latch on to newer bands, I’m really liking @sunday1994.bsky.social. I hear a Mazzy Star influence, and even some Madder Rose. Also liking the grainy/washed out aesthetics of their videos. Awesome stuff! youtu.be/l3TaLPVuiJs?...

I really enjoyed #Companion. Just a fun movie, with elements of horror, sci-fi, and comedy. Sophie Thatcher was awesome in the lead role. Definitely recommend it!

I’d like to get to know more about people’s foundational live music experiences here. What are your #FirstFiveConcerts? Mine are:
1: Cyndi Lauper/Eddie Money (12/86)
2: Billy Joel (1/87)
3: Huey Lewis & The News (4/87)
4: Howard Jones (6/87)
5: Whitney Houston (7/87)

Can’t believe it’s been 38 years to the day since my very first concert, #CyndiLauper and #EddieMoney. Kickstarted a lifetime of adoration for the live music experience.
